Haylie is the DotcomCowgirl's namesake and is delighted to announce that DotcomCowgirl is now KickApps' lead small business developer. Having completed more custom installations of KickApps to date than any other developer, she was recently honored by KickApps as their first "PowerKicker". Haylie was also featured on the KickDeveloper.com Site Showcase, discussing what brought DotcomCowgirl to specialize in the KickApps platform for robust and cost-efficient social networking and user generated video websites.

Her expertise as a KickApps social media website developer is supported by her 28 years of experience in small business software development, broadcast media, market research, and advertising, including positions as General Manager of KQQK-FM, Houston, Texas and VP/CFO of Inc 500 company Strategic Radio Research, Chicago, Illinois. She holds a degree in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana.

Haylie was a member of the original Apple Developer Program, and developed the first computer software program, WireWrite, that fed API, UPI and AFP wire services directly into a computer (a Mac Plus!) making them broadly available. As lead developer for ACI's 4th Dimension relational database platform, she developed business databases for Fortune 500 companies including Apple Computer, Waste Management, and TetraPak, as well as numerous regional and local small business clients. She also developed the successful 4D software products Instant Interface, Instant Code, and ACI's Instant 4D Index.

Haylie has a solid track record of helping her clients use technology and the media to better market and operate their businesses. Over the years, she has worked with clients in many lines of business: retail, technology, media, the arts, health care, athletics/sports, equestrian services, manufacturing, travel and tourism, real estate, construction, and others.

A professional horsewoman, she owns a small ranch in Austin, Texas where she trains and sells western performance show horses. She is also a PADI DiveMaster, a Texas real estate agent, and a diehard Apple Mac evangelist and Battlestar Gallactica fan.
