This is one of my sites. I couldn't resist skinning KickApp's Co-Founder Pete Clark's fan site after I found out he was such a huge Genesis fan, as am I. I had originally wanted to do a black/smokey spotlight theme ala Genesis' "Seconds Out" album, but Pete requested a blue background because that's what his community preferred. The turquoise shades in a Genesis outdoor concert photo inspired this gradiant blue theme -- and it became a knockout when loaded with the brilliant concert colors of the Genesis media video and photos. And I got a chance to use that Rotating Cube widget on a website where it actually makes design sense!
